  2. Position requirements:
      1. Deck Officers:
        • Passport;
        • Seaman’s book;
        • Certificate of Competency;
        • Basic Safety Training;
        • Advanced Fire Fighting;
        • Medical First Aid;
        • Proficiency in Survival craft and rescue boat other than fast rescue boat;
        • Training in bridge resource management teamwork;
        • Training in operational use of ECDIS and AIS;
        • Medical Care on board – applicable for Master, Chief Officer and Second Officer;
        • Ship Security Officer – applicable for Master and Chief Officer;
        • Training for seafarers with Designated Security Duties;
        • Certificate for training in Marine Environmental Awareness;
        • Yellow fever;
        • Marlins English language test for seafarers held in BMTC – applicable for Master (results above 80%); for Chief Officer (75%); for OOW (70%).
    1. Engine Officers:
      • Passport;
      • Seaman’s book;
      • Certificate of Competency;
      • Basic Safety Training;
      • Advanced Fire Fighting;
      • Medical First Aid;
      • Proficiency in Survival craft and rescue boat other than fast rescue boat;
      • Training in engine room resource management and teamwork;
      • Training on monitoring of the main and auxiliary machinery operation and associated control systems;
      • Training in safe operation and maintenance of power systems in excess of 1000 Volts – for El. Engineer and Electricians;
      • Training for seafarers with Designated Security Duties;
      • Certificate for training in Marine Environmental Awareness;
      • Yellow fever;
      • Marlins English language test for seafarers held in BMTC – Chief engineer and Second engineer (75%); for EOW and Electrical engineer (60%).
    2. Ratings:
      • Passport;
      • Seaman’s book;
      • Certificate of Proficiency;
      • Basic Safety Training;
      • Proficiency in Survival craft and rescue boat other than fast rescue boat – for able seafarer deck;
      • Training for seafarers with Designated Security Duties;
      • Certificate for training in Marine Environmental Awareness;
      • Yellow fever;
      • Personal medical book – for ferryboat and tug boats;
      • Certificates according to the position – for fitter and cook;
      • Basic level of English language – interview required.
